The kit they use in the videos uses 16 nylons washers and 8 cheese-head screws with a blister pack of thermal paste.

Penny Repair
The penny repair uses 12 copper pennies wrapped in electrical tape. Copper pennies were produced prior to 1982 so look for dates before 1982. After you wrap the pennies you hot glue them to the processors that use the foam heat sinks. Basically it is a fix that attempts to dissipate heat again. A lot of people have success with this technique.
